We offer a range of Yoga, Pilates and Aqua-Fit classes, as well as a host of classes which are described below:
Spinning (brand)
The benefits of Spinning meet a long list of health, fitness and lifestyle needs for a broad range of people. Whether you’re a roadie seeking performance gains or a newbie trying to drop a few pounds, spinning likely has you covered. From saddle to saddle you’ll see the needs of many – regardless of age, gender, lifestyle – met by one experience. That’s why, as fitness options go, few are as dynamic and accommodating as Spinning.
TRX
TRX, which stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise, is revolutionary workout method that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. So, whether you want to build strength, lose fat, improve endurance or flexibility, the TRX Suspension Trainer can be used to achieve any fitness goal. By simply leveraging your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises, you get a full body workout, while simultaneously working your core. And because you’re working with one training tool, and can adjust your weight on the fly, you can minimize your training time by switching from one exercise to the next in just seconds.
Barbell Body Burn
You may observe several potential benefits after participating in a barbell class. The weightlifting aspect of the class helps increase your muscle mass, tone muscles and build your overall body strength. Because you burn calories during the class, expect to see some weight loss and fat-burning benefits, although the overall amount of weight that you lose will be attenuated by your muscle gains, since muscle is denser fat. The gains in muscle tone and strength that you experience may also aid joint health, since your joints are supported by the muscles with which they interface.
Bodyblast
An all over bodywork out incorporating strength training with cardiovascular training to get the most from your workout.
Circuit Bootcamp
Circuit bootcamp is a combination of bootcamp exercises put into a circuit class. Participants will work-out on a particular exercise for a set amount of time before taking a break and moving on to the next exercise. This is a fantastic class for burning fat and building your aerobic capacity.
Full Body Workout
Full Body Workout targets your full body leaving no muscle untouched!
B.L.T.
A class focused on your legs and core area.
Spin & Core
Spin & Core is a high-energy 45-minute spin class which finishes with a 20-minute powerful floor based mat workout to strengthen and attack your core area.
Spin & Tone
Spin & Tone is a popular class which combines all of the best elements of our regular Spin class, but which also works on toning your upper body by incorporating exercises using dumb bell weights for the last 15 minutes.
Gym HIIT
Gym HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time
Active Pilates
Active Pilates works on establishing alignment left to right, top to bottom, front to back through developing core strength, balance and improved range of motion.
Cost and how to book
All classes are priced at €5 per class for members and €10 per class for non-members. Hotel guests are welcome to join classes free-of-charge. Classes can be booked through the Health & Leisure Club reception desk or via the dedicated Health & Leisure Club mobile app.

TAILORED EXERCISE PROGRAMS
Personal training is available at Woodlands Health & Leisure Club for members, non-members, and hotel guests. Available in single sessions and in packages, they comprise tailored time and activities to ensure that your personal fitness and health goals are achieved.
Our trainers create individual training workouts that provide continuous progressions, fresh routines, keeping exercise interesting and promoting increases in strength and fitness. We also focus on safety, technique and injury prevention.
