FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT
FUN FOR ALL JUNIOR VIP'S
Kids love Woodlands! There is so much fun to be had they won’t want to leave.
We have large family rooms to suit a family of six, inter-connecting rooms and two bedrooms suites for extra comfort.
We have a host of activities designed to keep our youngest guests entertained during their stay which includes our highly popular Woody’s Kid’s Club and Woodlands Fairy Trail, but also a mini pet farm, 1.2km walking trail, playing field (don’t forget your hurley and football), organic garden where you will meet friendly Gardener Caoimhin, and a family toddler pool and 20m pool in our Health & Leisure Club.
Our chefs have also created a range of tasty options on our menus in Timmy Macs Bistro to tantalise even the tiniest (and fussiest!) of tastebuds.
Right on our doorstep you will find a range of indoor and outdoor children’s activities catering for a wide range of ages and interests.
Why not get close to nature at Stonehall Visitor Farm & Wildlife Park; cycle or walk the Great Southern Trail; take to the fairway at Adare Pitch & Putt; saddle up at Clonshire Equestrian Centre; learn about local aviation and maritime history at Foynes Flying Boat and Maritime Museum or burn off some energy at Adare playground.
King John’s Castle, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Craggaunowen Castle & Crannog open air museum and Lough Gur are also within a 45-minute drive of the hotel.
The great outdoors also offer lots of family-friendly options. Why not climb Knockfierna, learning about the history of the hill as you go?
Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trail comprises 98 kms of two-wheeled adventures in what is the largest trail network of its kind in Ireland. Or why not take to the water at the University of Limerick Sport Adventure Centre in Killaloe.
There is also paintballing, roller jam, go-karting and a cinema within easy reach.
