ROOKIE LIFEGUARD SCHEME
CONFIDENCE IN THE WATER
Created by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), The Rookie Lifeguard Scheme is aimed at children who are advanced swimmers. Divided into three stages, Bronze, Silver and Gold, it provides children with the skills they need to be confident in the pool or the sea. With colourful materials and fun, varied activities, the Rookie Lifeguard scheme teaches children offers lessons in survival, rescue and sports skills. They learn to enjoy water safely, whether in shallow or deeper water. It will help your child keep themselves, their friends and their family safe in the water.
This course is recommended after completing the Lanes Level at group lessons stage.
From Rookie Children over 16 years can progress to Lifeguard course.
The Rookie Lifeguard Scheme is delivered by Noreen from Connolly TPS.

WOODY’S KIDS CAMP
FUN HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN & GUESTS
Catering for all children aged between four and 12 years, we offer a broad range of activities such as treasure hunts, pool games, feed the animals in the mini pet farm, fairy trail discovery, organic garden visit, arts and crafts, and outdoor games.
The camp is open to children from the local area as well as guests.
We also host children’s birthday parties and have tasty healthy eating menus!
